I’ve never sent a layout for publication before, but when the new magazine Creativity Life was looking for pink doodlebug layouts for the readers gallery I sent on in because I love doodlebug.
I made it into the magazine (all 2 square inches), and got my layout back (eventually) with a free pad of coredinations paper. The magazine was not great, I was looking forward to something of the standard of Simple Scrapbooks, or what I see on UKS, what I got was just the same old same old. I was seriously unimpressed.
Anyway, the layout, I used Bubblegum paperfrills, Bazzill in BonBon, Lily White, Pajama and Posie Pink, Neapolitan Stripes paper, BonBon rub-ons, love gemstones. I also used the Quickutz Ginger font.
